These terms govern your use of Sighlet and this website, operated by Taoftware LLC. Sighlet is currently in development. Test builds may change, contain defects or lose data. Keep your own exported copies of recordings you value.
Your recordings
You retain your rights in recordings and artwork you create. Only record audio you have the right and consent to record. Sighlet is intended for natural breath sounds, not recording other people's private conversations. The current build saves private unchecked audio; it does not certify that a clip contains only breath.
General wellness and creative reflection
Sighlet does not diagnose, treat or monitor a medical condition and is not an emergency service. Sound visualisations and acoustic observations do not measure lung function, oxygen, stress or fitness. Breathe naturally. Guidance, when available, is optional; stop if uncomfortable, dizzy or short of breath. Seek appropriate professional advice for health concerns.
Optional paid features
Real-money subscriptions are not yet available. Test Store purchases are labelled and do not charge real money. When store subscriptions are enabled, the app will display the store's actual price, billing period, included features and renewal terms before purchase. Purchases and refunds are subject to the applicable Apple or Google store terms and local law. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your store settings. Basic access to export and delete your recordings will not require a subscription.
Public sharing
Public publishing is currently unavailable. Any future sharing service will have a separate consent step, breath-only eligibility checks, reporting and blocking, usage limits and a disclosed retention policy. No public upload or moderation acceptance is implied by a local save.
Responsible use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, infringe rights, upload unlawful material or attempt to access another person's data. Do not use breathing practice while driving or doing an activity that requires attention. We may suspend access for misuse, subject to applicable rights and a support contact.
Availability and liability
We aim to provide a useful service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every recording will be retained. To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied as available without additional warranties. Nothing here excludes rights, warranties or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
